As soon as you encounter a flat tire in your car, slowly inch your way to a level ground that is away from all other vehicles on the road and park your car there. Once you have ensured that the parking brake has been engaged and your hazard lights are blinking, go to your vehicle’s cargo space and access the spare tire and the toolkit for the repair.

First, pull on a pair of gloves from the toolkit and avoid staining your clothes with grease. Then access the wrench and turn the nuts by half an inch. Use the jack to slowly raise the vehicle until the tire lifts off the ground. Now, unscrew the nuts and pull the wheel free before replacing it with the spare tire. Using your hands, replace the nuts and slowly lower the jack back down until the tire makes contact with the ground. Use the wrench to tighten the nuts diagonally and ensure that they are screwed on tight.
